Abstract: This report synthesises findings from 14 peer-reviewed papers addressing the following research question: How do Phi-3-mini and Mistral-7B-v0.1 differ in hallucination rates and factuality scores on long-context retrieval tasks evaluated by RAG benchmarks. 6 claims were extracted from source literature; 2 were independently verified against retrieved documents.
