Abstract: This report synthesises findings from 16 peer-reviewed papers addressing the following research question: How does iterative self-refinement impact pass@10 scores compared to single-pass decoding for CodeGen-2B on the HumanEval dataset. 13 claims were extracted from source literature; 6 were independently verified against retrieved documents.
