Abstract: This report synthesises findings from 10 peer-reviewed papers addressing the following research question: Does the Rank VQA model's multimodal fusion approach improve robustness against adversarial image perturbations on the VQA v2 dataset relative to conventional attention-based models. 18 claims were extracted from source literature; 2 were independently verified against retrieved documents.
