Abstract: This report synthesises findings from 9 peer-reviewed papers addressing the following research question: How does the performance of Mul-GAD compare to other semi-supervised graph anomaly detection models on the Reddit and Twitter datasets in terms of precision, recall, and F1-score. Anomaly detection is defined as discovering patterns that do not conform to the expected behavior. Previously, anomaly detection was mostly conducted using traditional shallow learning techniques, but with little improvement. 9 claims were extracted from source literature; 0 were independently verified against retrieved documents.
